Royal Counseling Center is in-network with a range of insurance providers to support your care:

Session Rates

Our rates reflect both the type of session and your clinician’s credentials.

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC):

  • Intake Session: $150 per session

  • Individual Therapy: $135 per session

  • Couples Therapy: $150 per session

LPC-Associate:

  • Intake Session: $90 per session

  • Individual Therapy: $90 per session

  • Couples Therapy: $90 per session

The initial assessment, or intake, appointment will be 50-60 minutes long. Each subsequent session will be approximately 45-50 minutes. The other 10-15 minutes are designated for the counselor to type notes and provide appropriate resources for you if necessary. The pricing above indicated is per session.

Outside Office Work

Some services beyond therapy sessions, such as collaboration with attorneys, communication (phone calls, emails, or texts) regarding you or your minor child, and additional administrative work, are billed as follows:

  • Hourly Rate: Billed per hour, prorated in 10-minute increments up to 30 minutes.

  • Full Session Rate: After 30 minutes, the full session fee of $135 will apply.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours before your appointment. A cancellation made within 24 hours or a missed appointment will be charged the full session rate.

Billing and Reimbursement Process

For clients using insurance, Royal Counseling Center will initially charge the contracted rate for services. Once your insurance has processed the claim, typically within 1-3 weeks, we will reconcile the amount billed with your insurance responsibility. If there’s an overpayment, a refund will be issued for the difference and your copayment will be adjusted going forward.

Any estimated fees and coverage do not guarantee insurance payment or final costs. Coverage details depend on your specific plan, eligibility, and state regulations. The final determination will be based on your plan’s details at the time of service.

Please note that insurance coverage and fees are subject to change at any time and for any reason, as determined by your insurance provider. Ultimately, clients are responsible for the full cost of each session, regardless of insurance coverage or changes to their plan.
